Conveyor

A conveyor system is a mechanical device or assembly that transports materials or products from one location or operation to another with minimal effort. It can use different methods, such as belts, wheels, rollers, or chains, to move objects. It can be powered by a motor, by gravity, or manually. Conveyor systems are especially useful in applications involving the transport of heavy or bulky materials. They are found, making them quite popular in the material handling and packaging industries. They also have popular consumer applications, as they are often found in supermarkets and airports, constituting the final leg of item/ bag delivery to customers. There are many kinds of conveying systems available and are used according to the various needs of different industries. There are chain conveyors (floor and overhead) as well. Chain conveyors consist of enclosed tracks, I-Beam, towline, power & free, and hand pushed trolleys. There are many types of conveyors used in various industries. Some of the most commonly purchased types of conveyors are line-shaft roller conveyors, chain conveyors and conveyor belts at packaging factories and industrial plants where usually product finishing and monitoring are carried. Other types of conveyors include screw conveyors, vertical conveyors, slat conveyors, pneumatic conveyors, drag conveyors and bucket conveyors. Industrial conveyors have many designs and uses. Common types are belt, roller, motorized roller and overhead conveyors. We categorize them as floor style (mounted on the floor) or overhead. Use them to move products, create buffers and deliver products in sequence for a production line.
