Manual bag filter
Manual furnaces: Smelting and recycling industry and lead and copper smelting are among the most important industries in the country and numerous workshops in Iran are using ladle and rotary kilns. One of the main needs of these workshops is the filtration system to prevent the release of valuable dust in the environment and to prevent air and environmental pollution with these materials.
Craftsmen in this field, depending on how they work and their taste, usually use two types of filters to collect this dust.
- Bag Filter
- Manual bag filter
Manual bag filter are one of the most widely used types of filters, whose suction fan, unlike bag filters, pre-filters and instead of taking dust in the outer area of the filters, blows the dust into the bags and after shutting off the sucker (blower). Dust is poured into the funnel and collected. In this type of filters, there is no need for metal baskets and jet pulses, and its bags, unlike the filter bag, are visible and accessible during the operation of the device.
Advantages of Manual filters over bag filters:
- lower price
- No need for plc system, solenoid valve and air pipes
- No need for metal baskets
- Access to filter bags during operation and the possibility of finding dust leaks and removing defective bags
Disadvantages of Manual filters compared to bag filters:
- High wear of the vacuum cleaner due to direct contact with dust
- Lack of automatic cleaning of bags
- Permanent operation of the device and the need to turn off the system to clean the bags
